The July 11-12, 2009 race at High Plains Raceway won’t have the shrimp and salads we had last time, and we won’t have the Bennett’s BBQ like we did at Pueblo, but we will have something else, maybe more fun…Margaritaville!

To have fun in the summer sun what could be better than bringing over your Pop-Up and adding it to the Tent Village? Join with everyone in Hawaiian shirts, shorts and sandals and let RMVR provide the margaritas and hors d’oeuvres while we dance and sing to the sounds of the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet? Let’s go back to the ’60s with a hot DJ and plenty of Rock and Roll tunes to celebrate HPR and your ever-improving lap times.

So make sure you pack your best tropical wear (there could be an incentive for the wildest shirt or outfit!) for the Saturday night party and oh, yeah, bring your driver’s gear to use during the day for the best racing in the Rockies!

Accommodations:
Longhorn Motel 456 N Main St, Byers, CO 80103 (303) 822-5205
The Grand Motel 215 W Lincoln Ave, Bennett, CO (970) 474-3302
Willow Tree Country Inn 49990 E 64th Ave, Bennett, CO (303) 644-5551
